While the ema has an advanced motion generator, the AnyBody (which CADFEM is contributing to the project) is a sophisticated multi-body system human model. The ema avatar has skilled worker knowledge and knows how to move in industrial activities. The AnyBody does not know this, but has muscles and ligaments in addition to bones, i.e. the biologically driven musculoskeletal system. Since the muscles in particular reflect the strain placed on the worker by the work performed, this project will investigate how the activity and the associated mechanical loads translate into the strain placed on the individual muscle parts and how this is to be evaluated ergonomically. In addition, it will be determined how the ema's motion generator can be improved by multi-body physical calculation of the movements.<\/p>

This - admittedly somewhat mechanistic - research approach is completely new and is only now becoming possible due to the need for movement resulting from the productive requirements of industrial work activity and the multi-body simulation and calculation provided by the ema and AnyBody human models.<\/p>

The task of imk automotive GmbH in the project is the development of ergonomic movement and collaboration models based on the planned and calculated movements. Furthermore, we contribute our diverse practical experience in the ergonomic design of manufacturing assistance systems and coordinate the project activities for the dissemination and exploitation of the research results (Dissemination & Exploitation).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
