VirtualAging - Simulation of age-related changes

Overview

Simulation to account for age-related performance changes in the virtual design of processes and products.

Grantor:
Federal Ministry of Education and Research

Funding code:
01S15002A

Term:
01.05.2015 – 31.10.2017

Project content

Changes in human performance affect both biomechanical parameters, such as ranges and speeds of motion, and sensory parameters, such as optical perception.

In this research project, the consortium is concerned with the virtual simulation of age-related changes in human performance using digital human models.

The common goal of all project participants is to build software solutions that significantly exceed the capabilities of existing tools.
